Free Moxie Products

• Writer receives a credit for Moxie products of $500 if article is printed with at least one picture in an equestrian magazine. Writer receives $250 Moxie credit if no pictures are used.
• Moxie products are shipped to you freight prepaid.
• Story must include some information about Moxie or Cavalero products.
• Include www.moxieequestrian.com in the article. Excludes small local (under 500 circulation) and foreign magazines.
• Same article published in multiple magazines earns you $500 (or $250/no picture) per magazine.
• All articles must be edited and approved prior to summiting to magazine by Tammy Barber.
• E-mail your draft with pictures to tammy@moxieequestrian.com.
• Tammy is a professional editor and she can help you finalize your article to ensure you'll have the best chance of acceptance by an equestrian magazine
• All persons in any picture must sign a release form. (See separate release form on Moxie web site.
• Forms need to be sent to Moxie at the same time picture is sent.)
• Moxie can provide some high quality photos to supplement your pictures. They are copyrighted photos and to get permission to use them the magazine must credit the photo with www.moxieequistrian.com . Let us know if you would like any of these photos.
• All questions on this program should be asked by e-mailing tammy@moxieequestrian.com.
• Articles should be typed and double-spaced with a title page that includes the article, title, word count, your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address.

Suggestion for writing your article

• Article should be about 1000 to 1500 words long with one to five pictures.
• Publishers are looking for very interesting stores and very good pictures.
• Digital photos - you should always set the camera to its highest resolution and size settings and the compression set to "off”. (Many older consumer level Digital Cameras are not capable of producing an acceptable resolution even at their highest setting.) Digital Camera Images are usually stored as JPEG files and should be submitted as such. A hard copy of the image should accompany the electronic version.
• Subject of story need not be Moxie or Cavalero. They only need to be included in the story. Most magazines will not print a story if it is just advertising.
• Articles with poor or no photographs will rarely be published.
• The following things are important: writing style, readability, appropriate length, clarity of presentation, and appropriateness of subject.
• Think about the readers of the magazine you are summiting the story to. The story is more likely to be published if it appeals to many of the magazine’s readers.
• Think about a personal story. Think about an unusual story.
• Email Tammy at tammy@moxieequestrian.com for a list of approved magazines.
• Stories by young people, even very young, are popular especially when the person’s name and age are included.
