How we collect information

Moxie Equestrian gathers customer information in the following ways:
• Registering as a Customer – We will ask you to choose a user name and password, and enter your Name, Address, Telephone Number, and Email Address. You also have the optional choice to store your preferred payment details in our secure database for future use.
• Placing an Order – You must be a registered customer to place an online order with Moxie Equestrian. If you are already registered and logged in to your account, your details will be automatically filled in during the checkout process. If you would like to place an order without registering please call Customer Service at 864.288.7363 between the hours of 8:30AM-5:30PM Eastern Time.
• Requesting a Catalog – We will ask for your name and mailing address so that we may mail your catalog. As an additional service, we will also send you new catalogs as they become available.
• Requesting our Email Newsletter – We will ask for your name and email address so that we may send you email newsletters featuring sales and information about new products. You may unsubscribe to these email at any time by click the unsubscribe link on the Email Newsletter.

For your Security

Moxie Equestrian works very hard to insure our customer information is kept private and safe. MoxieEquestrian.com uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. The SSL coverts your information into a highly encrypted, indecipherable code which is transmitted directly to Moxie Equestrian’s order department. All information in our database is stored in an encrypted state behind our server’s firewalls.

Credit Card transactions and customer registrations are completely secure. You may verify this by looking in the address bar of your web browser and verifying the web address has changed to https. There will also be a closed lock or key either in the bottom corner or in the address bar, depending on the web browser you are using.

SPAM and “Phishing”

SPAM is unwanted emails sent to you by companies you did not give your email address to for advertising purposes. Moxie Equestrian will not share or sell your email address with any other company. Phishing is when you receive an email that appears to be from a legitimate source requesting personal information from you. Moxie Equestrian will NEVER send you an email requesting you to verify credit card or any other financial information. If we have a question regarding your information we will call you. If you receive an email that appears to be from Moxie Equestrian that requests financial information please DO NOT respond to it or click any links that may be in the email.

Children’s Privacy

Protecting children’s privacy is very important to us. Our website is a general audience site. Children under the age of 13 may look at our site, but cannot make a purchase. We do not collect or maintain information from those we actually know are under 13. Our site is not designed for children.
